The Maria¡¯s Food Group was inaugurated in Hong Kong in 1966. In 2001, Hong Kong Maria¡¯s Foods Holdings Ltd incorporated its solely owned subsidiary- Beijing Maria¡¯s Gourmet Foods Co. Ltd in Beijing.
Incorporating advanced western technologies and quality standards, Maria¡¯s built its own 12£¬000 sq. meter factory in Beijing. The whole manufacturing process has been designed to operate in a germless environment and spotless hygienic conditions. Workers insist on double clothes change and the factory is sterilized twice daily to ensure quality and hygiene is up to State requirements. The vast production capability will guarantee supply to meet short-time large orders.
Beijing Maria¡¯s was accredited for International Standards Organization Quality Standards (ISO 9001) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) in 2005. In 2005, the State Bureau of Commodity Inspection further accredited it for Food Export Quality Inspection Certification.
